I can't believe it!

Interesting watching X Factor and hearing so many of the finalists saying of their experiences 'I can't believe it!', without realizing the damage of that mantra...

'I can't believe it!' has the energy of 'things like this don't happen to me' ' I don't deserve this' and 'I've only got this through luck'. So energetically the person unknowingly pushes the experience away.

Far better to say 'I love this, I'm enjoying every moment, I've dreamed all my life of getting here and I want this to go on forever'.

Similar thing applies to the 'I can't afford it ' mantra, it implies lack and scarcity and blocks the flow of more money in. Whereas 'I want this so much I'm going to find a way to get it' opens up the flow to the ideas and opportunities to allow the money to manifest.

Listen to your mantras, they represent the mindset which perpetuates your reality.

disbelief comes when the system has you so confused that you don't know who the hell you are.

Everything surprises you then.

disbelief is when people lose sight of their essential identity.

You can be sure that the arrogance and cold hearted ruthlessness of the bourgeosie will wish to take every opportunity to covet those who lack essential identity.

empowerment comes only when the empowered understand the meaning of the One and for once in their lives are able to reach forward and enlighten, in such a way that the bearer of this enlightenment remains unseen.

WOW thats deep, but explains a lot. thanks. Sounds like some of the teachings in buddhism. I didn't know a dragons site would talk about this kind of stuff.
Thanks dude.

She is an Ex-Dragon and a boring one, she is rude to most unknown pple.

Yet on twitter you can see she has msgd DragonDuncan and he always ignores!

Stephen said...

probably because Duncan Bannatyne doesn't know one end of Twitter from another. lol

Well your opinion is that but I assure you he does know how it works...

I think RE is a funny person, this can't last for much longer but I enjoy watching her parade around.

Look at RE compared to the original dragons - you had - RE-DB-DR-SW-PJ - RE in comparisson to all of theese was peasant! they all had and still have a personal wealth more than 10 or even 30 plus million....Whereas our dear RE has probably 3 or 5 million!

Even TP says in his book, he coulden't see how she was there.

Theese are some sunday evening in the bath thoughts of truth...

Stephen said...

You seem to have a very limited understanding of the term success "anonymouse in the bath".

The difference between Rachel and her counterparts on Dragons Den should not be measured on the last few years, but in what is still to come.

And you couldn't poassibly know what that is anonymouse.

Anonymous said...

Well anonymouse,TP as you call him was scared to approach her, and if anyone is a peasant I would suggest that it is TP, see he actually forgot where he came from, or doesn't want to remember, but deep down he is still a peasant, but cos he made a few quid he thinks he is soething special. He doesn't even support his own countrymen, quite sad really.
So I'd rather have 100 or more Rachels around rather than 1 TP, or even 1/2 a TP.

who is TP dlog?

Anonymous said...

Stephen if you have have a look back a couple of posts or so you'll see that the dragons have been referenced by their initials, unless of course I read it wrong, therefore TP is Theo Paphitis or The Peasant, same thing really, both have the initials TP :-)

Ok dlog. The only dragons that i would like to meet (that i haven't already met) are Richard Farleigh and Simon Woodroffe.

Definately Simon Woodroffe because like with Rachel i have a lot of respect for him.

All the others seem like horrible, hardfaced, intimidating people who need a good cuddle and a cry. They seem so unhappy and uncomfortable with their lot. Its a sure sign that money beyond necesssities does not a happy person make.

It's funny because I went back to the house I lived in during the days when Red Letter Days was making £1million profit a year at the weekend (my brother now lives there)

while it was a time of great 'success' the truth is my life was very shallow.

These days I am generating less £££ but in so many ways am far richer.

My brother reads all the business books and took a little delight in showing me what Theo had written about me in his book. I think it is a shame he is so nasty about me. By his own admission he has never created a business in his life.

Everyone you meet in the business world agrees Theo is ruthless and nasty, that's why he has amassed so much money, my question is, how rich is he?

By the way, Lucie went out of X Factor last night, if you watch the prog you will hear her say at the Film Premiere 'I just can't believe I am here' - and so the Universe takes it away.

He is WEALTHY, but only in ££££'s. But those £££££'s don't make you happy or give you sincere friends, and I assume Theo has neither.

I can't beleive so many otherwise intelligent people waste their time watching shows like the X-Factor!

Rachel Elnaugh said...

X Factor is a phenomenal show - what other show attracts 14 million viewers these days??? I am a total addict I am afraid, sorry if that makes me somehow unintelligent!

Anonymous said...

its called family entertainment, you FUN, make people happy, but then you're probably very very wealthy like Theo, so you dont know what happy is, you should try one day, it takes more muscles in the face to smile than to cry or miserable, so smiling and being happy is very theraputic.
So SMILE and have a great time and day in doing so :-)

X Factor is great, and so is Jedward they have my hair what more can I say??

Simon kept them in becuase he knows that they will be a bloody good money spinner!

Simon is an excellent business man - more so than some of the dragons you see...

Can't wait for the weekend, although I will miss it this weekend as I am away...

Have a good week this week, bloggers and no visits to Rotherham now!

"I can't believe it!"

I thought it was a talent show!

Why are J&E still in?

I reckon some of their teenage mates are hacking the audience voting database. lol

Stephen said...

thedlog, did you manage to get any sleep in that car last night. lol

Ke said...

Out of interest is anybody a Morrissey fan? Rachel what would you do in his potion? a bottle was thre at the millionaires head!

How rude...

Stephen said...

IMO. Morissey did the right thing. If people can't behave themselves then everyone suffers. That's how it used to be at school.

Good on him.

I can't believe people actually pay to attack the person they paid to see.

They're obviously full of apathy and need to do something useful with their lives to get them back on track.

Thats true it was a Joke, I have seen the aforementioned 6 times, being from manchester and all that I think it is loyal...

Lucie leaving x factor is a monument to guru bullshit.

She was public favourite, whilst she sang the songs she likes/suit her then along come the Cowells and Minogues to turn her into something she was not.

And the second piece of guru bullshit, was Cowell sacrificing Lucie to give his own mentees a better chance. Nothing else can reconcile his comments about Lucie/Jedward and his vote.

And yes these people are that shallow, they will screw anyone if they think it will score a point for them.

I also suspect that Lucie has already been got at by yet another empowerment guru, which accounts partly for the last choice of song.
Not that most of these empowerment people have ever actually achieved anything with the mumbo jumbo and erroneous quantum physics they just like passing it on.

I doubt we have heard the last of Lucie, she just needs to get rid of the hangers on with egos many times their ability.

Thats the last x-factor I will watch.

Rachel Elnaugh said...

No, the problem with Lucie is that her personal brand was not strong enough...

Far better to have a Marmite personal brand (some people love you, others hate you) than to be talented but bland.

Which is why Jedward, Jamie, Stacey and Olly are still in.

Stephen said...

In copywriting, the amount of people you repel, is usually equal to the amount of people you attract.

Yep, Marmite.

Anonymous said...

Nothing to do with it Rachel.

Lucies brand was plenty strong enough for her to be overwhelming public favourite, until extremely bad advice and choices got her to change the formula. Advice from people who profess to know what matters, but in reality know jackshit.

As for jedward remaining in, that is a testament to Simon Cowell caring more about a personal feud , than he does about trashing others. Completely proven by his comments about jedward and lucie, till given the chance to stick the knife in. He knows jedward have no chance, which is why he let them go on.

You will not have heard the last of Lucie, provided she takes sensible advice now, from somebody whose ability exceeds their ego. A rare combination in celebrities it should be said.

Well anonymouse, if it is the likes of cowell who know jackshit, I wouldn't mind knowing jackshit, cos jackshits seem to be very successful and have loads of ££££'s

Anonymous you sound like someone very close to Lucie, maybe her father? You clearly have a lot of anger and it is manifesting as blame however the problem was with Lucie and the fact she did not BELIEVE in herself.

Contrast Leona being interviewed 'ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of being a pop star' and Leon saying to his mum ' I'm going to win XFactor next year because I'm Leona without the A'. Both these winners reached a point in the finals where they believed they could win. Remember Mrs O saying to Leon ' The magic is rubbing off on you'.

Contrast the way Jamie holds the stage - he has total belief in the dream, he has stars in his eyes. When people work
from their heart in this way magic happens and they appeal
to the audience at a soul level.

Do not allow Lucie to give her power away by blaming others, she needs to take absolute responsibility for everything that happens in her life.

R

PS OK to be a rich jackshit then, so long as you are not Paphitis?

Watch the replay of the play off again with jedward, and you see in lucies eyes TOTAL belief that she is going through to the next round, not a qualm in her demeanour, then complete disbelief in cowell's decision and what happened next.

Belief is not enough.

You have not yet explained, why cowell took the decision he did - in the light of his statements about jedward and lucie up to that point.

The answer is because he does not give a damn who he treads on in order to be able to claim to mentor the winner.

Lucie has every right to blame Cowell for deceit.

And as for Jamie, he is a lucky young man. Crying was about as far west of what jamie stands for as you can get in a song. Unchained melody was an even more ridiculous choice. Small wonder jamie is in the relegation zone.

Cowell has no idea what to do with a rock singer. Not a clue.

Rachel Elnaugh said...

Whatever you may say, her statement was 'I can't believe it'. People sometimes have no clue how they are unwittingly pushing things away. Blame Cowell all you like but he was the one who gave her the bite at fame.

Goodbye Stephen, here's wishing you well on the next part of your journey!

I went to a Christopher Howard event at the weekend entitled Breakthrough To Success, it was amazing! As a gift to you, if you would like one, I have a ticket to his next event which I would like to send to you.

They say that the best way to help mankind is to know thyself;

This quote sums this up well… “When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed I could change the world. As I grew older and wiser, I realised the world would not change. And I decided to shorten my sights somewhat and change only my country. But it seemed immovable.

As I entered my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I sought to change only my family, those closest to me; but alas they would have none of it. And now here I lie in my death bed and realise, perhaps for the first time, that if only I had changed myself first, then by example I may have influenced my family and with their encouragement and support I may have bettered my country, and who knows, I may have changed the world.” From A Bishop’s Tomb, Westminster Abbey Circa 1100 AD

During the weekend there were many people with money (a little or a lot), possessions, family – just as there were those who were alone, disabled in some way, and fearful – all there for the same reason…something is missing in their lives, something that calls them, a something that they are determined to find.

I believe that this something is ‘SELF’ - many have money (a little or alot) and masses of materialistic things, yet they do not have Self love, self respect, self appreciation, self gratitude, SELF in all its richness and abundance.

It is when we know and love our true SELF that we are able to truly love, respect, have appreciation and gratitude for those and that around us.

And how do I know?

I have taken the journey!

Wishing you well as you embark on the next stage of your own.

With all good wishes, Susanne

p.s I have just watched a clip of Robbie Williams on Loose Women aired on Monday. What a journey he has been on! As with us all, I sense that the best of Robbie is yet to come!

Rachel Elnaugh said...

Yes I saw Robbie being interviewed on Jonathan Ross, he has changed, there is a humility about him now, it feels like he is finding peace, mending the damaged relationships of the past and enjoying life again. Expect a reunion No 1 and sell out tour with Take That very soon!
