The Bank of Abundance delivers...

In my Blog post yesterday I promised to let you know as soon as something manifested.

Well, I opened up my email this morning to find a message confirming a deal - for exactly £10,000 - decided on yesterday.

Spooky, huh?

As they say, you don't need to understand exactly how electricty works to switch a lightbulb on...

Amazon were extremely quick in delivering the 'Ask and it is given' book so I will be getting down to some reading - could not resist turning to the 'Prosperity Game' section and after reading it I set up a simple spreadsheet and as the book says the game has no rules, I have already entered the first 10 days of 'income' and have happily been spending it lol

Well it would be silly to have all that imaginary cash and not spend it wouldn't it ???? ;-)

I have come across many of these "laws of attraction" books and programs over the past couple of years and. To me it appears that the most important thing they do is give entreprenuers and start ups a method and system of keeping their chins up in the face of all adversity. There is no doubt that an outward confident happy appearance will sell better than an outward appearance of self doubt and misery!

However, focussing purely on the laws of attraction without the ancillary work and learning that goes into building a successful business would appear to me to be a recipe for disaster.

As you highlight yourself, Rachel, there is a constant need for cold ruthless self evaluation and impovement.

But always remember that the "temptation to quit will always be highest just before you are about to succeed" - chinese proverb.

Hi Drowning Entrepreneur

Not sure I totally agree.

Yes sometimes it is possible to act 'as if' you are confident/happy but that is not the same as actually BEING confident and happy.

The whole point of the Law of Attraction is that you need to be 'vibrating' at those higher energy levels to activate it. And then opportunities naturally flow & manifest - you actually don't need to pitch hard or push for them. This is the ultimate in 'Magnetic Marketing'.

Hence why there are so many cynical people when it comes to the Law of Attraction - when you are a cynical person the positive things cannot manifest and you tend to attract negative experiences. So the cynicism perpetuates.

In the 'olden days', when things weren't working I just pushed harder. And of course if you swim hard enough you can always get where you want to be against a strong current. But these days if something is really hard work (i.e. nothing is working) I take it more as a sign that I am doing the wrong thing.

It is the projects which flow easily and positively which you will have most success (& happiness & fulfillment) with.

Hi Rachel,

I have to admit to not having read "the secret" or any of the "laws of attraction publications"! So my comments come from outside observation and uneducated guesses at their content.

However, I was stunned to discover yesterday that a guy I'm in business with - a hard nosed, coldly analytical, business man of 25 years experience read the book some months ago and is now a convert.

I think I'd better do some reading before I comment further!
