I would be interested to know What you and others think of twitter
BRILLIANT

Very useful tool Hani. Especially if you are a marketer. You can build a highly targeted, highly responsive list without ever going down the opt-in route.
Also a place where people talk rubbish...lol
Thanks Dlog and Stephen, so many people seem to use it. I am still a technophobe, but learning...and whats all this about rubbish?
Here is some of the commentary..

I have tried twitter but have not 'got it' yet.
If you use it to your advantage (esp as you say it is good for marketing) is there somewhere you went to learn about how to use it ?
Are there any tutorials aimed specifically to show you how to use it for marketing purposes ?
Thanks for any pointers in the right direction.
I bought a book in Waterstones 'The Little Book of Twitter' which explained how to use it.
Getting the Twitterific iPhone app was also a big breakthrough as you really need to be out and about and tweeting not sitting at a computer (boring)
I am following Tony Robbins, Stephen Fry & Maggie Philbin amongst others. And of course TheDLOG !!!!
See you on tonight's webinar!

I understand your interest inTony, Stephen and Maggie but the dlog........whats so great about him/her?
I think there is something called friendship and loyalty...people don't just follow other people because they are superstars or highly successful.....
I heard Stephen Fry interviewed the other night by Newsnight and he shot holes in the press hysteria that surrounds the politicians expenses.
Whilst politicians should be seen to be cleaning up their act, i would say that the Barclay twins at the Telegraph have a lot to answer for.
What they are doing is attempting to bring our nation into disrepute in an attempt to drown out the real fraud of the bankers and other wasters behind the scenees.
Stephen I agree, Stephen Fry did a great job on the press, everybody should be made to clean up their act, including the politicians.
Anonymous, I also agree, friendship is important. I was interested to know what dlog does that would make Rachel or anybody else for that matter want to follow him. Maybe you can answer that question.
To twitter or not to twitter?.........
If anyone is interested in Training Videos for Twitter and how to go about identifying and targeting your marketplace, you get them from here:
buy-seo-services.com
I got the video series and it was worth it. Especially if you want to use Twitter to build highly targeted lists.
cheers
'Anonymous, I also agree, friendship is important. I was interested to know what dlog does that would make Rachel or anybody else for that matter want to follow him. Maybe you can answer that question'.
dlog is the sort of person who goes out of his way to help others, that inspires trust and loyalty and leads to friendship. He is not phoney, pretentious or selfish, he is just himself. My Husband has also met dlog and thinks he is a good guy.
Rachel is perceptive enough and smart enough to value real human qualities, regardless of whether you are rich, poor, educated, successful or otherwise. That's how I see it anyway.
Hani
dlog is one of the good guys. Take some time out to meet him or shut up.
"Anonymous, I also agree, friendship is important. I was interested to know what dlog does that would make Rachel or anybody else for that matter want to follow him. Maybe you can answer that question."
But of course I can answer this for you:
See Stephen's & Hani's post above, and if you still don't get it,
TWATTER OFF!!!!
From: A1 (ok, I'll call myself A1from now, hopefully to avoid confusion. Don't want to get mistaken for making passes at other people and stuff like that)...aka The Anonymous Who Normally Gets On with Witty Stephen.
Hey Anonymous you just gave me some keyword ideas for my forthcoming Twitter Video Series.
Twit
Twot
Twoo
Twoot
Twootle
Twitter
Witter
Twatter
Unwitter (hmmm)
My (Twitter)
(Twitter) Killer
(Twitter) Unleashed
etc
heh
Stephen, stick with "twatter off" (my very biased view, of course)...glad to be of some help, as always....
Also, you could consider spelling twit twitt....so you don't look particularly offensive. Don't want your killer instincts to be too obvious...wolf in sheep's clothing strategy good.
I am not supposed to be posting anymore...supposed to be doing real work...or Rachel might come along and crack her whip.......need to get some graphics off the ground too!!!!!!

Thanks for your information on Twitter Steve. I bought the videos and watched them last night and started my targeted optin list this morning. Already got 22 followers on my list this one morning. Will keep warming them up as they said. Thanks again. Mark.
